CITY LIMITS: SLUMS OF THE WORLD
In collaboration with UN-HABITAT and the World Urban Forum 3, the Vancity
Theatre is presenting a series of films exploring life at the margins of the
worlds crowded urban centres. The films in this series were carefully selected
because they provide tremendous insight into the world today.
With over one billion people living in slums and squatter settlements, and
the possibility that this figure could double within the next 25 years, this
selection of eye-opening films presents the reaction of different cultures to
slum-dwelling and extreme poverty.
