| Event Description |
The course will illustrate how tools such as the Urban Governance Index and Participatory Budgeting can help in objectively measuring the quality of urban governance, and improving participation, effectiveness, accountability and equity in cities. Using a mix of powerpoint presentations and interactive group exercises, the course will develop participants skills in applying different tools to identify governance strengths and weaknesses, as well as defining capacity-building entry-points to address the latter.
