| Event Description |
The main purpose of the event will be to present the Africities summit with its theme “Building Local Coalitions for the implementation of the Millennium Development Goals in African Local Governments”, and use the occasion to sensitize delegates attending WUF 3 to participate in the summit. The main speakers at the event are expected to be the Kenya Minister for local Government, the mayor for the city of Nairobi, and the Chairman of the Association of Local Government in Kenya.
