Title Financing Water and Sanitation in Asian Cities Day / Time Wednesday, June 21st / 16:30 - 18:30 Room MR17 Event Description This session will explore all possibilities of financing urban water and sanitation in Asian cities, to ensure a significant increase in access to reliable and affordable services for safe water, sanitation and productive livelihoods. It aims at strengthening ways and means for prioritizing investments in urban water and sanitation services to support sustained economic growth in cities, including investments in water supply, sanitation and environmental improvement. This event shall bring together Governments at National, State and Local levels as important partners responsible for budgetary supports, governance and regulatory policies to meet the challenge of providing water and sanitation for human settlements.
