Culture as an Instrument of Social Harmony, Cohesion and Economic Vitality
We invite you to participate in this interactive Networking session where the intersection between individual creation and societal context will be explored and queried - a compelling journey that recognizes culture as an integral component of urban sustainability.
Recent studies on the impact of arts and culture on communities have shown how these programs enrich the lives of those who participate and play a crucial role as a catalyst for economic prosperity, social health and national identity. In Greater Vancouver - the metropolitan host area of WUF3 - creators in every discipline from food to music to video games, architecture to dance to fashion have created a unique culture defined by its eclecticism.
In a vibrant mix of short performances and presentations featuring a combination of international guest speakers and local cultural actors, this interactive Networking Event will immerse participants in the diverse culture of Greater Vancouver and fuse it with the international experiences of our guests.
