Getting around Vancouver and the Convention Centre

Vancouver is located in the South West corner of British Columbia, the westernmost of Canada's 10 provinces, just one hour north of the border with the United States.

Getting to and from Vancouver

By plane:

International airlines fly daily into Vancouver International Airport (YVR). Located just 25 minutes from downtown, YVR is consistently rated one of the best airports in North America. There are more than a dozen international flights in and out of YVR every day, with 22 bound for the United States.

Participants arriving by plane will be shuttled to their hotel at no cost. During the week shuttles will be provided from hotels to the Convention Centre free of charge. This service will also be avalaible to return participants to the airport. There are several other options to go between the airport and downtown Vancouver, including scheduled coach transfers, limousine, taxi, car rentals and transit.
